Wow it's been so long...
Hello world!! What a busy past 2 months we've had. Here are some of the highlights...
In January... Chase started back to seminary full time. He's finishing his master's degree through a distance learning program at Liberty University. We're so excited for him to be able to finally get back to his school. He's doing great! Chase also preached at church 2 Sundays during the month while the pastor was on a mission trip to Africa. Click on the link to check out the mission trip pictures on our church's web site. The kids and I enjoyed touring the fire station with their cousins Sydney and Seth. Chloe had her 2nd visit to the dentist. The kids also enjoyed their first trip to Build-a-Bear at the Galleria, as a friend of ours had a birthday party there. They had a great time and treasure the bears they made. Chloe is also continuing her gymnastics. Abbey is a bundle of joy. John Caedmon is talking so much now. What a fun and busy preschool we are in with our 3 kiddos!
February was a bit harder month. It marked the year anniversary of my Grandmother's death and the death of my Memaw. Memaw(my mom's mom) passed away February 8th. We rejoice in her heavenly homecoming. Even through sad and trying times, it is so great that I serve a God who gives hope and peace! I look forward to the day when I will be reunited with all my brothers and sisters in the Lord who have gone on before me. Mom also went into the hospital for high blood pressure. She's fine now. Praise God.
Chloe turned 5 this month. Wow! It's hard to believe we have a 5 year old. We enjoyed eating lunch at Chuck E. Cheese's. (It's our birthday tradition!) And had a little family party at my parent's house for her birthday dinner. It was a fun day! Also in February Chase and Sam started back their weekly radio show, Tech Talk. It's on AM 1070 WAPI every Saturday at 11am. February ended with a bang: I was priviledged to attend Beth Moore's Living Proof Live Weekend here in B'ham. Wow!!!!!! What a wonderful time of refreshment and encouragement for me. But that is a post in and of itself. Maybe later I'll share what I learned. Unfortunately, I came home with a cold that has turned into a sinus infection with fluid on my ear. So, February ends with four days of us being sick. I'm not hearing 100% now but I'm sure I'll be better soon. It seems that the whole family has the same crud in different forms. So this is a week of rest for us. The doctor gave me some great shots today(ouch!). So I'm looking forward to a near future recovery. I am blessed with such a wonderful husband and parents who help when I'm sick.
Alas, it is late, and my husband tells me I need to go to sleep since I'm sick. I think that steroid shot is kicking in. But he's right so I'll end and go to bed. I hope to not let so much time pass between posts next time.
Next time I'll post pictures.
Oh yeah..... Chase and I have somehow joined the MySpace movement. You can check out our pages by clicking our links on the side bar or clicking these links here.
