Spring is in the Air!!! (news, family updates and more news!)

I just love this time of year! February and March are big birthday months for our family. So we have many parties and family get together. The kids love it. It is starting to get a bit warmer so we love enjoying the pleasant weather outside and at the park. It's been awhile since I've posted and we have a lot of news to share, so here goes!!

My youngest is about to turn three. Wow how time flies! We enjoyed celebrating his birthday with Chase's family at Kobe's Japanese Steakhouse last night. He was mesmerized by it all. We will have cake and presents for him on his birthday on Tuesday. Cake and presents are his favorite part about birthdays!! And Chloe is about to start spring soccer. She will get to play on the same team as her cousins and have my brother/her uncle as her coach. We are all excited about that!! We all love soccer and it is fun to be outside! Abbey is doing well learning how to write her letters. She often likes to "do her school work" while I teach Chloe. Abbey is normally such a playful an energetic little child!! So I am excited about her interest to sit down and learn(although she is not extremely still during learning, but that is OK!). And yes, our first year of homeschooling is going well. Chloe will be finishing kindergarten soon and will have a sweet little kindergarten graduation with our home school group. Chloe is an eager learner and such a joy to teach. And I absolutely love our home school group, Agape Academy. From it I have such a wonderful network of home school moms and such good support, encouragement and wisdom.

Now for the big news...... Have you heard yet??? Yes, I am pregnant and expecting our fourth little blessing!! I am due on July 27. I go on March 9th for an ultrasound. But, we have decided to wait to find out the sex of the baby until birth. How fun!! This is our first time to do that. Since I am pregnant and occasionally hormonal, I do reserve the right to change my mind and find our earlier!! But we will most likely wait to find out if our sweet little one is a boy or a girl until July. If you are wondering how I feel, I feel pretty good. I am quite fortunate to have had a fairly smooth and easy pregnancy so far. It is amazing that I am almost halfway through with the pregnancy.

So what about Chase??? After a long 2006, Chase has finished his masters!!! I am so proud of him. He worked so hard and really excelled. And he actually enjoyed all the research and study. Is it OK to brag on my husband a bit? I hope so. Last week his diploma arrived in the mail and here is a secret, I think he may have teared up just a bit! Not much, oh he is such a manly man for that, but I do believe that I detected moisture in his eyes. I hope he doesn't mind me telling that to the world! He really is a sweet and sensitive guy. As far as work goes, he is still busy in all of his many roles at church and in doing all his "computer stuff".

His most recent and quite interesting pursuit of study is on the Jesus Family Tomb documentary. I have been amazed at this whole issue. He is doing much research and designing a website to offer the truth on this supposed Jesus Tomb. Check out the site he is putting together by clicking on this link: http://www.jesustombhoax.com/ It is still a work in progress, but has many links to lead us to THE TRUTH! Please check out this site and let all your friends know about it! This is really a huge opportunity for the community of believers to be ready with the truth. I encourage you all to be ready as 1 Peter 3:15 says "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." And as Paul wrote in Colossians 4:9 "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

Blessings to you all!!!
Janet

ps I hope to post some more new pictures soon!
